Carrying a concealed weapon (CCW, also known as concealed carry) is the legal authorization for private citizens to carry a handgun or other weapons in public in a concealed manner, either on the person or in close proximity to the person. This course is not for a security officer to be able to carry a concealed weapon. This course is for a private citizen to carry a concealed weapon. In the state of Florida, you must complete a Concealed Weapons Course to lawfully carry a concealed weapon. The cost for this course is $60.
